$10k Solar Powered Off Grid Tiny House With HUGE Solar Panel Installation in Australian Outback

This is one of those solar powered off grid tiny house you drool over. The tiny home sits on 12 acres and is equipped with a massive 4kw solar panel system complete with all the bells an whistles, including a 36kw lead-acid battery backup system that’s enough to power their tiny house for a month! (if you conserve energy).

The solar power system on this home is enough to also power their workshop and all their appliances and equipment to maintain the property and for entertainment purposes. Best of all, the tiny house was built sustainably using as much upcycled and recycled materials as possible to keep the carbon footprint as low as possible.

This is a dream home for tiny house enthusiasts and an inspiration to others showing that not only is it possible, it’s been done and it works!

Now, not all homes need this much power, and a 36kw battery system is rather large, but if you’re prepping for a grid-down scenario this could last you a good while. Indefinitely if the solar panels and charging system hold out.

I like to work with power tools and be able to charge my devices, this is more than adequate and does the job better than most other homes I’ve seen that are similar. Usually however, homes with a solar power system this large are also larger and use more energy. This is a solar powered tiny home and has less cubic feet to heat and cool and therefore uses energy more efficiently, and has more energy to use when needed.

If you’re going to build a solar powered tiny house to live off the grid, this is the way to do it.
